African American Organizations

Western States Golf Association

WSGA a predominantly African American organization was founded in 1954 by seven clubs, located in Arizona, California and Washington. In the past forty years this organization has been a leader in the development of African American golfing , junior golf and networking. Each June in Palm Springs the WSGA holds its annual championships. It also provides scholarships to participants of its junior golf programs.
