A Word from the Publisher !

October/November 1997

I would like to first of all congratulate Tiger Woods on becoming the two million dollar man as he continues to shatter records and set the pace for all golfers world wide. Secondly, I would like to thank all of you for all of the very positive and supportive letters, snail mail, email and phone calls about Afrogolf.com. Thirdly I want to thank all of you who send me letters, flowers and words of encouragement during the past month. As many of you may not have known my ex-wife passed away during October and I was un-able to continue with the growth of the site, but we are moving forward as we add staff, more writers and revamp the offerings on the site. Look for the changes during Thanksgiving Weekend, 1997. We will be expanding our classifieds with many unique offerings and special gifts for the African American Golfer and other family members. Look for more coverage, expanded features and articles. Thanks again and all of the support is appreciated.
