A Word from the Publisher !

Dear friends of Afrogolf.com,

As we prepare to enter spring and prime golf weather the bug is upon all avid golfers. I played in the NFL Alumni Tournament this week and it was great getting back into the swing of things. Golf is a great sport and a wonderful hobby. But, as African Americans we must always be aware that no matter how much success we achieve on the fields of athletics, in the boardrooms, or financially we are still subject to preconceived notions and ingrained prejudices. But, we will not let anything stop us. For we are people of destiny - as we leave Black History month we should all be revitalized with the legacy we have just celebrated and the heritage we must cherish. African American's have made significant contributions to the world and we can never forget it.

Tiger Woods lost this week but the man is just 24 years old, I would not want to be Mr. Clarke the next time those two meet.
