Geneva Faulkner " How to conquer a bad lie"

" How to conquer a bad lie"

Bad lies are something every golfer faces during most, every single round of golf. So to improve your game you must practice this situation during your practice sessions.

When the ball is sitting down during this situation you must adjust your stance.

The first step is to place yourself in a position with the ball further back in your stance.

The second step is to set your weight forward, which will produce more of a downward strike of the ball when it is hit.

This will also make the ball roll more once it hits the ground.

If you practice this every time you go to the range or have a practice session you should see a marked improvement from these unavoidable situations.
