"30 years as a Black Golfer"

I had a meeting with Al Thomas the owner of Players Sports Bar & Grill in San Diego this morning and we met at the Chula Vista Golf Course in the Bonita area of San Diego. As we talk I notice black golfer Bill Smith coming in , followed by local TV personally Herb Carthon and his group. I've know Bill for years and he agreed to let me interview him. Bill has been in the corporate world and now owns an insurance agency in the San Diego area. Here's Bill's perspective

Question: What's the biggest change you have seen in golf over the past 30 years?Bill Smith: Over-all the golfers of today are more enthusiast and knowledgeable about the game of golf. Thirty years ago when I started playing golf it was strictly a corporate move and business tool.
Question: Tiger ?
Bill Smith: Ha ! Primarily he's been a major influence on new golfers and the youths acceptance of the game. He has no boundaries to his future if he stays injury free. He's truly a joy to watch as a golfer, all together he's something else. I hope that he will become more gallery friendly, he's currently too intense. But, I watched him at a resent Pro-Am, I think it was Pebble Beach and he was as relaxed as I have ever seen him. If he can master that part of stardom, he will be unstoppable and have galleries as no one ever has. He is good for the game of golf, all he need's is seasoning and maturity which will come with time.
Question: Who are the golfers to watch ?
Bill Smith: Tiger, Ernie Ells, David Duvall, Jeston Leonard and Phil Mickelson. I would love to see a match play event between those guys or just Tiger and Ernie Ells would be fantastic.
