Tee & Turf Golf Club is a Puget Sound area 501(c)3 non-profit amateur golf club base in Tacoma, WA. The club has been promoting the game of golf through club sponsored golf, social, and community events and programs for over 30 years. Tee & Turf Golf Club is focused on involving the African-American community to be more involved in the game of golf and we welcome all those who share our core values to join us to improve life through the game of golf without regard to socio-economic status, ethnic origin, gender, or ability. WSGA a predominantly African American organization was founded in 1954 by seven clubs, located in Arizona, California and Washington. In the past forty years this organization has been a leader in the development of African American golfing , junior golf and networking. Each June in Palm Springs the WSGA holds its annual championships. It also provides scholarships to participants of its junior golf programs.
