The Los Angeles Chapter of the NFL Players Association is holding its annual celebrity charity golf tournament on Monday, August 26th, 2002 at Industry Hills Golf Course. A VIP Reception and kids "Power Camp" will be held the Friday and Saturday prior to the golf tournament. The tournament will benefit the Goals For Life Foundation, a mentoring and goal setting program that employs retired NFL Players in Los Angeles area schools.

Goals For Life is a mentoring and goal setting program by retired NFL players and coaches. Goals For Life has been making a difference in the lives of students for the past thirteen years.

The Orthopaedic Hospital of Los Angeles has been making a difference for over ninety years as the largest non profit children's orthopaedic hospital in the country.

The POWER CAMP is being presented in conjunction with the Violence Prevention Coalition of Greater Los Angeles.
