This colorful, outgoing beautiful
professional has seven LPGA Tour wins in last three years. McGann joined tour in 1988 as
an 18-year-old and has finished no lower than l8th on the money list since '92. 5he had
her best season ever in 1996, winning three times and earning $498,561. In four playoffs
for LPGA titles McGann is undefeated, including her sudden-death victory over Karrie Webb
in last year's HealthSouth Inaugural tournament. Her 1998 season has been respectable
with $87,084 in prize money. She currently ranks 1lth in the Solheim Cup eligibility
standings. Her best statistical category in '98 is sand saves- she ranks ninth. The
one-time National Honor Society student balances a wide array of interests, including her
work as founder of the Michelle McGann Golf Classic to benefit the Diabetes Research
